City Council members introduced legislation Tuesday to allow the freedom to marry in the Nation's Capital. If it passes, as expected, Washington D.C. would be the first city below the Mason-Dixon line to honor the marriages of same-sex couples. The city’s bill is expected to become law by December. [Link]
