Empire State Pride Agenda Executive Director Alan Van Capelle is pleased by the fact that the New York Court of Appeals upheld two government orders to recognize out of state marriages between same-sex couples: "I think it continues to build momentum in our community and we’re proud of the individuals who took the right step in recognizing same-sex couples."
