Recent and credible research has convincingly shown that Bishop Harry Jackson’s views of the “privileged" gay and lesbian community in Washington D.C. are completely untrue and inaccurate. Contrary to Jackson’s claims, yearly earnings of men in same-sex couples are actually lower than those of married men. Also, same-sex households have lower incomes than those headed by straight married parents. [Link]
