The ACT government has told a gay-rights rally it expects a disagreement with the commonwealth over its plan to allow same-sex civil unions to be resolved by the end of March, but neither side are giving any ground. The ACT also used the rally to announce plans to give gay couples equal access to parental leave. [Link]
