Jeanne Phillips who writes the infamous Dear Abby column has supported marriage equality for over 20 years, but recently her position was highlighted by the press. In response, Phillips said, "All of a sudden, there was this firestorm of publicity, 'Dear Abby believes in gay marriage,' " Phillips says.
