New Ballot Language in California: Prop 8 Would Take Away the Freedom to Marry in California

Last week, the California Attorney General's office announced changes to the Proposition 8 ballot language which appropriately identifies the discrimination it promotes:

"ELIMINATES RIGHT OF SAME-SEX COUPLES TO MARRY. Changes California Constitution to eliminate right of same-sex couples to marry."
