Six pro-marriage equality candidates in Connecticut scored important victories in Tuesday’s party primary elections, making clear, said Anne Stanback, executive director of Love Makes a Family and chair of the Love Makes a Family Political Action Committee, that voters in Connecticut support the idea of equality. “Quite simply, candidates who support marriage equality win in Connecticut elections,” said Stanback. “The symbolism of these races could not be more powerful.
