Justin R. Long, a visiting assistant professor at University of Connecticut School of Law, says it's unlikely a ruling on Kerrigan & Mock, et al. v. Connecticut Department of Public Health would take so long if the justices were unanimous. What's more probable is a split decision, and the crafting of dissenting and/or concurring opinions is responsible for the hold up. [Link]
