In a letter responding to a NYT story on African American voters in California and marriage, President of CA NAACP and Freedom to Marry Voice of Equality Alice Huffman writes, "The news media narrative of blacks versus gays on the issue of marriage for same-sex couples should include the diverse views, values and opinions held in our community."
