Dianne Feinstein and Google both oppose Proposition 8... But with the measure dangerously close to passing, Feinstein has been noticeably silent. Meanwhile, Google has allowed the “Yes on 8” campaign to disseminate its message through GoogleAds, even though that appear to violate the company’s own advertising policy—which prohibit any banner ads that “advocate against a protected group,” including sexual orientation or gender identity.
