Tipper Gore announced her opposition to Proposition 8 Saturday night during the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center's 37th Anniversary gala in Los Angeles. Her opposition to Prop 8 -- the California ballot initiative that would overturn the right of same sex couples to marry -- is not really all that surprising. Last January, Al Gore posted an unprompted video on Current TV announcing his support for marriage equality. [Link]
