Birth certificates to reflect NY marriage move

As a result of New York state recognizing out-of-state marriages of gay couples, married gay couples in most of N.Y. can now list both their names on their children's birth certificates. The policy applies statewide except in New York City, which is is considering changing its own birth certificate forms. [Link]
