Prop. 8 sponsors seek to nullify 18K gay marriages

The Yes on 8 campaign filed a brief with the Calif. Supreme Court arguing that because Prop. 8 bans marriage for gay couples, the state can no longer recognize the existing unions of 18,000 gay couples who wed when the court lifted the state's marriage ban. [Link]
