Manhattan Surrogate Court Judge Kristin Booth Glen ruled that a gay man is the "surviving spouse" and sole heir of his deceased husband, who he married in Canada in 2008. The ruling is the first of its kind in N.Y. state, where out-of-state marriages of gay couples are legally recognized. [Link]
