Voice for Equality: Margaret Cho

Comedian Margaret Cho is the next nomination to be a Voice for Equality. Cho is best known for her stand-up routines which tackle social and political problems-- especially race, sex, and sexuality. She has spoken frequently on gay rights issues and in support of marriage equality. In 2003, she told NPR that she "thinks gay people should be allowed all the outlandish marriage ceremonies that straight couples claim as their right, such as drive-through ceremonies in Las Vegas."
