Ralph Ewers writes that some people believe that "majority opinion and the will of the voting majority is unerringly right. If so, perhaps we should abolish the Supreme Court, revisit matters of civil rights gains, reinstitute slavery, return to all the voter approved and government sanctioned oppressions of minorities in our past....
