Nora Ranney, ACLU's LGBT Project Legislative & Field Director, shares her experience of attending the public hearing in Maine for their marriage equality bill: "Our side has come out in droves. I can’t estimate the number of people, but the civic center is 90 percent full, with LOTS of red. I would say there are about 25 marriage supporters to every opponent." (Link)
