Voice for Equality: Bette Midler


Singer, actress, and comedienne Bette Midler has won four Grammy Awards, four Golden Globes, three Emmys, and a Tony. Her illustrious career stretches four decades, beginning with a role in Broadway’s Fiddler on the Roof. Currently, Midler stars in her own Vegas revue titled “The Showgirl Must Go On.”

During a recent interview with the Associated Press, Midler expressed her full support for the freedom to marry:

“I’m all in favor of gay marriage. I think it’s fabulous.”
