Michigan State Representative Pam Byrnes wants to change state law to recognize marriage equality. The Democrat from Washtenaw County's Lyndon Township was scheduled to launch an effort to repeal marriage discrimination at the annual gay rights Michigan Pride event at the state Capitol on Saturday. "No doubt, it will be a fight," Byrnes said, "but we're seeing some attitudes change." [Link]
