The New York State Senate's biggest advocate for the freedom to marry says he has the votes to make it legal. Senator Thomas Duane (D- Manhattan) says he has the support of more than the 32 senators needed to pass the bill. Though he has refused to name names, Duane says Republican senators are among those who have agreed to support the bill. [link]
