Episcopal Church In Line with American Clergy on Gay and Lesbian Issues

Despite calls from conservative Anglicans that the American Episcopal church is choosing to "walk apart" from the wider community, the numbers don't agree—at least not in America. Recent church changes regarding LGBT issues were largely responses to rapidly changing public opinion and shifts in the political landscape, and are consistent with the views of clergy from most mainline denominations.
