Marriage Equality Gaining Momentum in Australia

With a push underway by the Labor Party to change the Government's position on marriage equality in Australia, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Telegraph, and opinion hub, The Punch, all recently ran pro-marriage equality stories. The Punch conservative commentator David Penberthy wrote, "there are plenty of gay people who are more together, more balanced and more loving than a lot of heterosexual parents and … a law based on outdated notions can only serve to entrench unhappiness..."
