Maine marriage supporters call on anti-gay organizers to conduct a civil campaign

The NO on 1/Protect Maine Equality campaign faxed a request to Frank Schubert, who's firm led the successful Proposition 8 proposal to overturn same-sex marriage in California and has been hired to do the same in Maine. Jesse Connolly, campaign manager for NO on 1, wrote that Maine voters "expect us to take the high road, avoid poisonous attacks, and make our case based on fact and principle." [Link]
