The battle for LGBT rights will move to New Jersey and the federal government, advocates said, after Tuesday’s narrow defeat of marriage equality in Maine. The Democrat-controlled legislature in New Jersey, is under pressure to pass a bill honoring marriages between same-sex couples before Gov. Jon Corzine ends his term in mid-January. [Link]
