Recent research shows that the children of same-sex couples are in most ways not markedly different than those of straight parents. But, Lisa Belkin writes, "children in same-sex couple homes tend to be less conventional and more flexible when it comes to gender roles and assumptions than those raised in more traditional families.” [Link]
