The District of Columbia became the latest U.S. jurisdiction to approve the freedom to marry on Tuesday. Michael Crawford, who leads the marriage equality advocacy group, DC for Marriage, explains the significance of the vote within the D.C. black gay community, given the majority black population of the nation's capital.
