Irish Official: Public offices cannot deny gay couples' rights

Irish Minister of State for the Office of Public Works Martin Mansergh said that public facilities should not be closed to gay and lesbian couples who wish to obtain a civil partnership. He maintained that doing so would amount to discrimination. [Link]
