Under the leadership of Alan Van Capelle, the Empire State Pride Agenda became a powerful force in Albany. He skillfully led the gay lobbying group and showed the same savvy in leaving it. Yet his resignation is a win-win move — for the LGBT community and the new city comptroller. [Link]
